Lib Dem Flashmobs

..or is it Flash Mobs? I dont know… Anyway I doff my hat to those facebookers over at RATM for what they pulled off. I went to the London one. Many things struck me about the day, not least just how many young, previously uncommitted, non-voting young people they have not just connected with, but persuaded to actually do something. Nice one.

I looked on the web and found a number of great videos/pics etc. As I had this music running round in my head on the day…I put the two together. Hope those that attended like it – and thanks to all the video’s and photo’s used. Oh and there is a bit of Blackheath (from earlier in the day)in there too.

“I agree with Nick” T-shirts…everywhere

i-agree-with-nickSo I went on-line this morning thinking that I should buy myself an ” I agree with Nick” T-shirt – if such a thing existed…..How foolish I was. The worldwide web appears to have spawned some form of virus since there appear to be hundreds of “I agree with Nick” T-shirts. Dont you just love free enterprise????

Two questions.

1. Which Tshirts ensure at least some of the of the money gets to Lib Dem coffers

2. Which is the best ? I think the orange one but suggestions welcome.

Stingray politics: Anything can happen in the next half hour…

stingrayIf a week’s a long time in politics – how about ninety minutes?

That’s all it’s taken to turn this entire General Election on its head – boosting the LibDem vote share to 30%

 What happens next?

At a guess…

1. Labour plod on.

2. The Tories dog whistle (the Cameron vote share is now down at Howard/IDS levels)

3. Nick and the LibDems come under immense scrutiny (probably on personalities, not policy)

We’re way beyond hung parliament territory now. We’re into WTF territory. The LibDems are now just 14/1 to be the largest party after May 6th.

Perhaps David Cameron should be asked what he’ll do if he holds the balance of power and whether he’d be willing to serve as junior coalition partner in a Clegg government?

Ok. In the past 24 hours (since the Leaders Debate as it happens ) we  have received dozens of emails asking us to reinstate the link to the “Vince video” . To my knowledge the link was always there….and anyway I think that Nick has proven he is “de man” but hey… here is the link again

(ps.. it is a year out of date….but you know that ….right  ??)
