LibDems launch new Website!! (And it’s good… seriously!)

Take a peek at http://www.libdems.org.uk The site has had a revamp is actually good! Gone is the drab gray and ludicrous layout. Welcome is a fresh teal and yellow. Kinda reminds me of something I’ve seen elsewhere, hmm, can’t quite put my finger on it… Oh well!

Shame about them only offering policy documents as a .doc, a proprietary format, and not flagging them as such, but the actual design makes things much clearer and more user-friendly, even if I do still detest that horrible turquoise.

“vote yellow, go blue”! very Euro Liberal.
I quite like the blue actually, and ‘Liberal Democrats’ in white. Seems like turquoise blue is the new party colour; and why note?

The “Donate” and “Get Involved” bits should be more prominent but otherwise it looks good.

What will “zero-carbon Britain” be like ? It’s their phrase – not mine.
People are made from … carbon. Food contains … carbon. Even my pet is made from carbon.
Interesting that the page on health does not tell doctors what to do in their surgeries and hospitals – but here we have politicians designing a new national power grid. Pols know even less than bloggers about technical stuff.
