Ol’ Nicko the Cleggmeister has been granted the esteemed title of…

REFORMER OF THE WEEK

…by pro-reform think tank Reform.

In their end of (the working) week e-mail, Lucy Parsons says that Cleggster wins the award “for urging that reforming Parliament should take precedent over MPs’ summer holidays.”

Hurrah!

Even more splendidly, their Reactionary of the Week award goes to…

… Prezza Prescott

He of the taxpayer-funded mock Tudor wooden beams is given the award “for blaming the media for the wrongdoings of MPs.”

Well bloody said.

One Response to “Nick Clegg: Reformer of the Week”

  1. Paul Embery Says:

    Two words: Lord Rennard.

Clegg lost all credibility on this issue by refusing to condemn his old buddy and spinning us a line about Rennard’s retiring for ‘health reasons’. Clearly he places personal friendship above political integrity.

Clegg has some temerity demanding MPs cancel their summer holidays to remedy this scandal.

One rule for your mates and one rule for everyone else, eh, Nick?
