A brief spot of self-congratulation: 15,000 hits surpassed

Upon this new cyber place of ours attracting 10,000 hits, I was going to post a comment to the effect of “Raaarrggghh! Look at us! Look at us!”
I forgot to do this.
But now I note that in our first ten days, we attracted over 15,000 hits.
These are sexy enough numbers to report, methinks.
Ten days. 15,000 hits.
Wah-hoooo!

Not that I want to do you down or anything but the number of hits really doesn’t mean anything especially as the majority are no doubt bots.
Believe me I get a ton more hits then you’d gethere on this site http://www.mensfashionfreedom.org/ but the majority of which are just robots.

Have you got stats on how muvch you’re getting picked up by searches people put into Google or Yahoo?

Does Analytics filter out bots? I thought it did.
Anyway it took me almost 6 months to get to 15,000 hits although this month so far has been nuts with all the media coverage I have been getting. I might even do some stat porn at the end of this month although that could be setting me a very difficult target for the next month!
Anyway, congrats LV!

Ziggy, if I understand correctly, we’re getting around 60 unique visits from web searches a day. This is all a bit alien to me though, I must confess. I refer all matters of complexity to Ms Gore.

I just looked at the stats for the most recent extention I bought
Since early Arpril its had 61002 hits

“[Referring] all matters of complexity to Ms Gore” seems to have worked very well – I like the clean and simple design (though I am also a great fan of her own blueprint-based blog background).
